Bad Art - even fine wine isn't enough to counter it.

Yes, it's the second Sat. of the month - so I'll again be strolling about the design district for the local galleries "art-walk."  Both halves of that final word word must be construed liberally.

Still, there's usually dollar beers and free "wine".   I will be endlessly entertained by the artists statements, all the more so when I use fragments of them to randomly generate new artists statements, which seem to be just as appropriate as the unmashed originals.  The hodgepodge of dress will also feed and hopefully extinguish whatever snarkiness is in my soul after dealing with smirking privileged white middle class ASAs who treat mental illness and under-age decision-making as though they're aggravating, not mitigating factors. (Well, just a couple of ASAs in particular, and not our usual opposite numbers.)

The curious (and well fortified - you enter the galleries at your own peril) can find me there, sometime after dark, before light.
