A lot of people have asked what living in Miami is like.  Here's my advice.  Fast forward through a few episodes of Miami Vice with the sound off.  Then watch a few episodes of Dexter - which is surprisingly right on.  The show hits all the typical/cliche Miami things and places.  Humidity, sweat, water, swamps, palm trees, flatness, sunset, construction, pastels, clubs, neon, culture clash, things Cuban, and the glittery emptiness which is never all that hard to find here.  Also I think I've had a client arrested in just about every background shot.  It's weird that I can easily spot where some things were shot.   I've never actually seen CSI Miami, so I can't tell you anything about that.
